FS-Elliott launches the P650, a new oil-free centrifugal air compressor in its Polaris line
FS-Elliott, a CAGI centrifugal-compressor member alongside Ingersoll Rand, introduced the 700-2,000 hp P650 with a fully removable, horizontally split airend built to cut field-maintenance time.
Illustrative photoFlow ranges from 5,000 to 10,140 cfm at 32-145 psig, delivering ISO 8573-1 Class 0 oil-free air; the airend is horizontally split so it can be inspected or pulled for replacement without disturbing the surrounding piping.
Controls run on FS-Elliott's Regulus platform, and the unit ships with a two-year package warranty plus a five-year airend warranty.
It is a useful reference point for anyone specifying a replacement machine alongside a legacy Joy, Cooper, Cameron or Ingersoll Rand centrifugal frame: serviceability of the airend has become a selling point across the industry, not just on one brand.
